KAWC Colorado River Public Media's First Statewide Pledge Drive
November 12-19, 2009 - GoalBusters supported the successful efforts of KAWC Colorado River Public Media's first statewide pledge drive. The new partnership with Tom Erickson's KJZA network of stations has allowed KAWC to deliver local Arizona public radio programming with a true community focused commitment for the listeners in Flagstaff, Kingman, Prescott, the Verde Valley and Williams providing expanded choice and program diversity. KAWC is one of the oldest continuously broadcasting public radio stations in Arizona, serving listeners for nearly 40 years. What a treat that one of the true pioneer stations now provides an alternative to public radio as usual. KAWC Colorado River Public Media, it's "Community Radio and a World of News."

Hosting The Blue Man Group Event for KAET Arizona PBS
January 10, 2008 - GoalBusters was asked to host 50+ supporters and guests of KAET Arizona PBS at a special Blue Man Group performance at Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley. In return, we were given 20 tickets to distribute to our own guests. One guest later proclaimed "This was the greatest night of my adult life!" I bet all the glow sticks Jim tossed out to our guests helped fuel the fun
The biggest moment for our friends was definitely the private "Meet and Greet" with the Blue Men themselves. Laura, Michele, Rick, Nancy, Sally and all our friends had a blast! Very messy, but very fun! As you can see, Alice has been affectionately tagged by one of the intense Blue Boys. It's a tattoo that advertises the event longs after the band's last drum beat has faded.
