CFRE International has announced the appointment of Alice L. Ferris, MBA, CFRE, ACFRE of Flagstaff, AZ; Clive Pedley, FFINZ, CFRE of New Zealand; and Becky Ann Gilbert, CFRE of Germany, to its Board of Directors.
After presenting at the Tennesee Valley Institute for Nonprofit Excellence, a local TV reporter tracked Alice Ferris, ACFRE down at the airport for an interview about the Ice Bucket Challenge. Here's the clip:

KGHR NAVAJO PUBLIC RADIO RECEIVES MORE THAN $225,000 FROM THE CORPORATION OF PUBLIC BROADCASTING11/8/2013
Congratulations to KGHR Navajo Public Radio who has received a grant for more than $110,000 from Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). Documentation prepared by GoalBusters Consulting have resulted in the restoration of more than $225,000 in funding for KGHR Navajo Public Radio in 2013. The grant will improve reliability and expanded programming and services for listeners in Northeastern Arizona. KGHR Navajo Public Radio is a service of the Greyhills Academy High School. At the AFP Leadership Conference in Pittsburgh, PA Jim Anderson, CFRE was elected as the Association of Fundraising Professionals District H Representative to serve on the AFP Committee On Directorship. Jim will join other elected representatives and appointees to select AFP's next term of leadership.
Ed Renzi, former CEO of McDonald's Corporation requested a photo with Jim Anderson, CFRE after Jim publicly thanked Ed (in front of 400+ Fundraisers) for his work in creating the Ronald McDonald House where Jim and his wife stayed during the first week of his daughter's life.
